From The Author

While living on the edge of a small country town in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, I, along with my husband James and our children, spent many happy hours with our “Amish” neighbors. The neighbors’ small farm housed horses, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and a dog named “Pepper.”

Inspired by my own fondness of animals as a child, I created the Danny Fisher Series, a set of children’s books that depict Amish characters and their animals on the farm.

My desire is that the books in the Danny Fisher Series would captivate not only the audience of children, but also the inner child of grown men and women around the world. In this, my dream has come true.

A special “thank you” to the illustrator(s) for vividly bringing to life every word written about Danny and Martha Fisher and the animals that are so much a part of their lives.
